1. Acceptance of terms

By using Sarkari Photo at sarkariphoto.in ("the Site", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. The service

Sarkari Photo offers free, browser-based tools to resize, crop, and compress photos and signatures, and to add a name and date to photos, for government exam application forms. All image processing happens on your own device. We do not receive, host, or store your images. The Site is free to use and is supported by advertising.

3. Your responsibilities

When using the Site, you agree that you will:

• only process photos and signatures that are your own, or that you have permission to use;
• not use the tools to create forged, altered, or misleading identity documents, or to impersonate anyone;
• not try to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to the Site;
• not use the Site for anything unlawful under Indian law or the law where you live; and
• check every output against the official exam notification before you submit it.

4. No guarantee of exam acceptance

The specifications on this Site (dimensions, file sizes, formats, special rules) are compiled from public exam notifications and other references, and are provided for convenience only. Exam bodies can change their requirements at any time. You alone are responsible for checking the current official specification before you submit an application. We do not guarantee that any file made with our tools will be accepted by an exam portal.

5. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, code, logo, and the "Sarkari Photo" name belong to us. You may link to any page and share it freely, but you may not copy or republish substantial parts of the Site without our written permission. You keep all rights to the images you process; we claim no rights over them and never receive them.

Exam names and the names of conducting bodies are used only to identify the exams. Their trademarks belong to their owners, and their use does not imply any affiliation.

6. Advertising and third-party links

The Site shows ads served by Google AdSense and may link to official exam websites and other third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, or privacy practices of advertisers or linked sites. Your dealings with them are solely between you and them.

7. No warranty

The Site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sarkari Photo will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. This includes rejected applications, missed deadlines, and lost fees.

9. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for any claims, losses, or costs that result from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these terms.

10. Changes to the Site and these terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also revise these terms; the "Last updated" date above will show when. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

12. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in full effect.
